Canada’s men’s soccer team ended its run in the 2024 Copa America tournament on Tuesday night, after a historic semifinal match against Argentina, losing 2-0.

Though their luck came to an end, many Canadians believe the team has earned respect on the international stage, as Vancouver is set to host the World Cup in 2026.
