Media controlled by Hamas say that some 30 people have been killed and dozens wounded in an Israeli strike in central Gaza Strip, citing medical officials. UNRWA has confirmed the strike killed dozens of people.
The attack hit a United Nations school in the Nuseirat refugee camp. The Israeli army says it conducted a strike on a 'Hamas compound' inside the school as it expands operations in the central part of the strip.
