In Israel, protestors continue to pressure the Israeli government for a hostage deal, as negotiations for a possible ceasefire in Gaza gain momentum.

In the last few minutes, the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has reiterated his stance that any deal must not prevent Israel from completing its war aims.

In Gaza, at least 16 people were killed in an Israeli air strike on a UN run school building, according to officials at the health ministry.

Israel claimed that Hamas gunmen had been using the location as a hideout.
