Unions divided over deal to end NHS strikes

The GMB union has voted to accept the NHS pay offer after Unite rejected the government deal.

The Royal College of Nursing has also turned down the deal and is planning additional strikes over the weekend.

The deal on the table is for a one-off payment for the year 2022/23, along with a 5% pay rise for 2023/24.
