An attempt at the United Nations to agree a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza has failed after the US opposed the proposal.
The UN Secretary General called for an immediate ceasefire, warning that Gaza is at “breaking point” and the consequences of the war could be devastating for the entire region. 13 nations voted for the resolution but the US veto meant it failed to pass.
More video has emerged showing dozens of Palestinian captives stripped to their underwear and being driven away in trucks by Israeli forces for interrogation.
