UN Security Council discusses the humanitarian impact of the war in Ukraine

The UN's nuclear watchdog has called for an end to drone attacks on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Plant in Russian-occupied Ukraine.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said drones hit a reactor building in Europe's biggest nuclear power station on Sunday.

Edem Wosornu is Director of Operations and Advocacy Division for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
She told the Council that no region of Ukraine has been spared. and the pattern of strikes aimed at first responders must stop.
