The United States has urged Russia to declare that it has no intention of invading Ukraine. Speaking at the United Nations Security Council, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken repeated warnings that Russia was poised to launch an attack. Russia insisted that it's withdrawing troops, and accused Ukraine of failing to implement a previous peace deal. Meanwhile, there are reports of fighting in Ukraine's east, with the government and pro-Russian separatists accusing each other of carrying out shelling attacks.
