UK defence: Conservatives criticise Labour for not being clear on defence pledge

Shadow defence secretary James Cartlidge has criticised Labour for not setting out when it wants to raise defence spending to 2.5% of GDP.

Sir Keir Starmer said he wants to do it when the financial situation allows - the Tories had pledged to do it by the end of this parliament.
