Former UK Defence Secretary defends defence spending under his tenure

Sir Michael Fallon has defended spending under his tenure as UK Defence Secretary, telling Sky's Trevor Phillips "we hit 2% of GDP on my watch".

It comes after Sky News learnt the government has no national plan for defence or the mobilisation of its people and industry in a war despite renewed threats of conflict.
