Brexit finally becomes a reality in around three and a half hours, ending nearly 50 years of turbulent ties between the UK and the European Union.
By 23 GMT, Britain will no longer be a member of the Single Market or Customs Union, and its new trade deal with the EU will come into effect.
But both sides still need to work out their differences on several sectors.
