Uganda is lifting restrictions against COVID-19 after one of the strictest lockdowns in the world.
Schools will start up again after being closed for nearly two years and a nighttime curfew is expected to be lifted.
President Yoweri Museveni said a successful vaccination programme had given his government the confidence to reopen the country again.
