After killing dozens in Philippines, prompting landslides, shutting down grocery stores and businesses across Taiwan, typhoon Doksuri swept through eastern China on Thursday.

The intense storm left a path of destruction as high-speed winds tore down trees and structures, while heavy rain bombarded and flooded the streets of the Fujian region.

Though it is slowly beginning to weaken, Doksuri’s course is expected to continue through to China’s northwest regions this weekend.
