Porter Airlines is pushing back the date it plans to resume flying to Sept. 8, marking the 12th delay for the company.
If this date sticks, Porter will return to skies nearly 18 months after it first suspended flights due to COVID-19.
The airline says it plans to recall roughly 500 employees once the first phase of flights is introduced, and additional staff will be needed once more flights and destinations are scheduled.
Anne Gaviola reports on the latest example of an industry, devastated by the pandemic.
