Right across the regions affected by the quake, there has been growing anger with the lack of aid as rescue teams struggle to cope with the sheer scale of the destruction.

With power supplies down, people are unable to use mobile phones and are having to use torches to search in the cold and dark for survivors.

We spent the night in the city of Antakya, in Hatay, one of the worst-hit provinces, close to the Syrian border.
