Rescuers are rushing to save American scientist and cave explorer Mark Dickey, who fell ill about one kilometre below the surface of the Morca Sinkhole, Turkey's third deepest cave.
The 40-year-old suffered gastrointestinal bleeding, and while his condition is stabilizing, he needs a stretcher to be lifted back up to ground level.
Jennifer Johnson reports on the race against time to save Dickey and why this mission is so difficult.
