Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith shared an awkward handshake during a frosty sit down ahead of a health-care summit with Canadian premiers.

While the talks will focus on Canada’s ailing health-care system, Smith hoped to discuss "areas of diversion" and find common ground on what she called major initiatives within the energy sector that were made without Alberta's consultation.
