Canada's busiest border crossing, the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ont., has reopened after about a week of being closed due to protesters demonstrating against COVID-19 public health restrictions and vaccine mandates.
The blockades impacted hundreds of millions of dollars in trade between Canada and the U.S. as the bridge was closed several times during the week.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is expected to announce Monday he will invoke emergency powers to support provinces in ending the blockades and public disorder that have gripped the nation's capital, Ottawa, for 18 days.
David Akin reports.
