Travel chaos: Airports face 'challenging' situation

UK airports are unable to ramp up their services quick enough to cope with surging demands for holidays, the Government says.

The Minister for Small Business, Paul Scully, said the government wants the travel industry to do more to ensure services run without disruption.

Gatwick airport has announced it is cutting flights over the summer but Heathrow said there should be minimal disruption to services.
