Thousands without power as tropical storm Nicole hits Florida

Shortly after Hurricane Nicole made landfall early Thursday along the east coast of Florida, it downgraded to a tropical storm. Even so, it brought heavy rain, storm surges and coastal flooding. About 215,000 homes and businesses across Florida's Atlantic coast were without power.
