Halifax Regional Police say a student is in custody after two staff members were stabbed Monday morning at Charles P. Allen High School on the first day back after March Break. The student allegedly involved was also injured.

“The investigation is in its early stages and once we have an update, it will be provided,” police said.

The school was placed in a hold-and-secure, and has been closed for the rest of the day.
