Spring snowstorm causes massive vehicular pileup in Wisconsin

As record snow fell across parts of the U.S. Midwest, unfortunately the sudden onset of winter weather proved deadly on a Wisconsin interstate when it caused a massive vehicular pileup, killing one and leaving six in hospital.

Vehicles and semi-trucks littered the sides of the road, as video of the scene shows.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says there were at least 80 vehicles involved in the crashes.

Officials say heavy snowfall and cold temperatures are to blame.
