The government has been accused by one of its own drugs advisers of not caring about the growing number of heroin addicts dying from an overdose.

It comes as drug support charities warn users that synthetic opioids, such as fentanyl, are being used to bulk out the drug, making it even more dangerous.

Sky's Ashish Joshi has spoken to heroin users and former addicts, who say they're seeing more of their friends die than ever before.
