Canada’s overdose crisis continues to get worse during the pandemic with many communities reporting record numbers of opioid-related deaths and hospitalizations.
In Alberta, it’s been another crushing wave of opioid deaths, and experts are bracing for another difficult year.
It was the deadliest January on record for the province with 160 deaths.
