Alberta has seen its deadliest year for drug overdoses, as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to worsen despite the already-dire opioid crisis.
In B.C., the province's coroner's service makes overdose data, a service Alberta now plans to do as well through a new online tool.
The two provinces have recorded more than 2,300 overdose deaths this year alone. Heather Yourex-West reports.
