Spain: Parliament to vote on controversial animal rights bill

Spain's parliament is due to vote on a controversial animal welfare law.
It is designed to make the treatment of both domestic animals and wild animals in captivity more humane.
If passed, it would ban the sale of pets in stores, and turn zoos into wildlife recovery centres.
But the legislation is facing criticism from animal rights groups - after a late amendment excluded hunting dogs from its protection.
