More than 1,000 Moroccans who crossed into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta earlier this week are still there.
Several thousand swam or used boats to reach it, sparking one of the biggest diplomatic spats between Madrid and Rabat in recent years.
Many still hope to make it to the European mainland.
