"SEOUL — Dozens of students in South Korea have filed a lawsuit against the government after a proctor for this year’s high-stakes college entrance exam ended their test one minute early. They are asking for about $15,000 each in damages.

The 43 students who have signed on so far are among the 370 or so who took the exams Nov. 16 at a high school in Seoul. During the Korean language and literature session, the alarm ending the 80-minute test rang 60 seconds early because a test administrator mistakenly thought there was one second remaining instead of one minute."
