A snowstorm has swept through parts of Ontario and Quebec and is headed toward Atlantic Canada, wreaking havoc for travellers on the ground and in the air.
This comes after much of Eastern Canada experienced one of the mildest starts to winter in recent memory, with many ski hills having to rely almost entirely on artificial snow to stay open.
