Quebec Premier François Legault wants an irregular border crossing popular with asylum seekers to be closed.
In a letter published in the Globe and Mail, Legault said the number of would-be refugees entering his province "has exploded.” He wants the federal government to intervene so Quebec can ease the burden on their social services.
And as Ross Lord explains, Atlantic Canadian premiers are offering to help.
