Several States Hit In Worst Day Of 'Agnipath' Protests

A 19-year-old was killed in Telangana's Secunderabad on Friday as the police fired at an angry mob who set trains on fire during protests against the new short-term military recruitment scheme 'Agnipath' that have flared around the country. There was widespread violence and arson across Uttar Pradesh today as protests over the new recruitment scheme for the armed forces went out of control in multiple locations - from Ballia in eastern UP to Mathura in the western part.
