Up to five people are reported to have died in the Gaza Strip after an air drop of aid went wrong - with cargo pallets hitting crowds after parachutes failed to open.

The accident happened the same day Lord Cameron confirmed that the UK will be involved in an American-led operation to build a temporary port in Gaza, and open a sea corridor from Cyprus.
