Scarborough shooting: 3 injured, 2 arrested by Toronto police

Three people have been injured following a shooting in Scarborough Sunday afternoon, Toronto police say.

In an afternoon update, Toronto police investigator Maher Abdel-Malik said that authorities are investigating the triple shooting and that two people are in custody.

Around 3 p.m. EST, officers responded to the Morningside Avenue and Danzig Street area for a reported shooting, according to officials.

Officers located three victims who were transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and are asking the public for assistance with any information that they might have.
