Samsung workers in South Korea have gone on strike demanding better pay and working conditions.
Thousands of union members are taking part in a rally in the city of Hwaseong, near Samsung's headquarters.
It marks the start of a three-day strike.
The company expects its profit this quarter to rise to more than seven-and-a-half billion dollars.
