Over 400,000 public sector workers in Quebec went on strike on Monday, disrupting schools, healthcare facilities and social services.

The workers, members of four unions, are seeking better wages and working conditions after quickly rejecting the latest offer from the province.

“If the government doesn't sit at the table and don't bring money for us, it is only the beginning, I can tell you,” said Confédération des syndicats nationaux (CSN) Union President Francois Enault.

Global News’s Brayden Jagger Haines has the story.
