Climate scientists have issued a red alert to the world after global temperatures reached record highs last year.

Sky's Thomas Moore says glaciers have experienced extreme melting with those in the Swiss Alps losing around 10% of their ice volume in the last two years. The melting ice drove up sea levels, and has more than doubled between the decade between 1993 ad 2002.
