Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has said the world narrowly avoided a radioactive disaster as power was lost to the reactors at Europe's largest nuclear power plant.
The Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant has been occupied by Russia since early March and has been shelled repeatedly during the conflict.
Both sides have denied purposely targeting the site, but President Zelensky said the power loss at the plant could have spelled a major world wide incident if power hadn't resumed.
