Gillian Keegan said children at a school affected by collapse-prone concrete (RAAC) were "petitioning" to stay in the Portakabins as they "preferred them to the classroom".

Thousands of pupils had the start of their term disrupted by the discovery of the concrete, as some schools had to close buildings or classrooms.
