Russian President Vladimir Putin said Sunday that an explosion on a key bridge linking Crimea to the Russian mainland was an act of “terrorism” and claimed the attack was carried out by Ukrainian special services.

The bridge is a key supply route for the Russian military, particularly as it looks to hold off Ukrainian advances in Kherson.

With Russian troops being pushed back, there are mounting concerns about Putin’s reaction. Redmond Shannon reports.
