At least three people were killed in Kerch, Crimea, on Saturday after a reported truck explosion damaged a Russian bridge that has become a key supply route to its forces battling to hold territory captured in southern Ukraine.

It was not yet clear if the blast was a deliberate attack or an accident, but Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian governor of Crimea, accused Ukraine of responsibility for the blast. However, Kyiv has not claimed responsibility, even though some of Ukraine's residents have shared satisfaction that the bridge was damaged. Some also posed in front of a large-scale replica of a stamp, appearing to portray the blast, released by Ukraine's Post Office on Saturday.

Video obtained by Reuters showed alleged CCTV footage of the blast, with flames erupting after it blew, though the date the video was filmed has not confirmed. According to Aksyonov, the road bridge was still intact in one direction.
