Protesters rally for change in New York after 9-year-old pepper-sprayed by police

Demonstrators marched through the streets of Rochester, N.Y. on Monday calling for change after a nine-year-old girl was pepper sprayed by police officers last Friday when they responded to a family disturbance call. They shouted various slogans, including "no justice, no peace" and "you just maced a little kid."

Body-worn camera footage showed police wrestling the girl to the ground in the snow and at one point spraying her with the pepper spray. The city of Rochester announced Monday that the police officers involved had been suspended.

Protesters also took to holding one rally outside the police station, shaking the fence outside the building and shouting "Black Lives Matter."
