A lot of us are guilty of having nodded off at work once or twice, but it doesn’t usually make headlines. So you have to empathize a little with Prince Charles, who struggled to keep his eyes open during a ceremony in Barbados which saw the country transition to a republic. The late hour and jet lag didn’t help – accounting for time differences, the ceremony was held at around 3:30am UK time.
In the end, he managed to stay awake, but in the future maybe he should invest in a pair of those glasses with fake eyes painted on.
