Pope meets 2 Canadian cardinals as calls grow for Catholic Church apology for residential schools

Pope Francis held meetings with two Canadian cardinals at the Vatican on Saturday. While the Vatican did not say what was discussed in the private audiences, diplomats said it would be highly unusual if recent events in Canada involving residential schools did not come up.
