People being forced to move to Rafah from Khan Younis: Human rights group

A spokesman for the Independent Commission for Human Rights group in Gaza has just finished speaking to reporters outside al-Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza.

Here are his translated comments:

People in eastern Khan Younis are being told to move to Rafah, an indication the Israeli forces are trying to further displace people.
We urge the international community to respect the rights of the Palestinian people.
The USA is fully responsible, not only by giving a red light to the occupation … and also by being a direct partner in the decision-making.
We are directly saying to the American people … that your president is taking part in the genocide in Gaza.
