Number 10 has insisted that Boris Johnson did not mislead MPs when he told them that no lockdown rules had been broken in Downing Street, despite the police concluding the law was breached.

Twenty fines have been issued to people who attended illegal parties in Whitehall.

But the Prime Minister is not among them, as yet.
