Salah Abdeslam, the main suspect in the November 2015 terrorist attacks in Paris, France, admitted Wednesday that he had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State, but said he had not killed or injured anyone.

The series of attacks at Bataclan theatre in Paris and in the northern suburb of Saint-Denis led to the deaths of 130 people.

On Wednesday, one victim who had survived the attack on the Bataclan theatre said Abdeslam’s last minute pledge of allegiance to ISIS was a new detail and “interesting.”

A father of one of the victims said Abdeslam was attempting to portray himself as the “star of the day” on the stand and said he had appeared “arrogant” on the stand.
