All eight people trapped on the dangling cable car have now been rescued, Pakistan’s interior ministry has confirmed.
The six children and two adults were trapped almost 1,200 feet in the air for more than 15 hours.
Bilal Faizi, an official with the Pakistan emergency service, said: “The rescue operation has been completed. The two adults were the last to be rescued.”
