Two adults and six children have been rescued after being left stranded in a cable car in Pakistan.
The group, who were on their way to school when one of the car's cables snapped, were stuck in the cable car hundreds of metres above a ravine for hours.
Pakistan's caretaker prime minister, Anwaar ul Haq Kakar, said he was relieved, and thanked all of those who were involved in the rescue.
