Since announcing a “tactical” military pause on Thursday, Israel says that more than 100,000 residents have fled northern Gaza to the southern region.

During his televised briefing Friday, Hagari re-iterated that efforts are underway to release hostages held in the Gaza Strip, but that such efforts “take time.”
