The San Diego Board of Education is sending teachers to provide in-person learning to migrant teenagers who are currently being sheltered at the San Diego Convention Center. Meanwhile, parents in the same district are frustrated that their children continue to learn remotely. Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), whose district is in San Diego, explains why he thinks this is a double standard.

A World Health Organization report says the strain of coronavirus that created the global pandemic was likely transmitted from animal to human in China. The study is far from being over, but it shows this coronavirus was not likely constructed in a Wuhan lab. Perter Ben Embarek, the leader of the WHO investigative team that traveled to Wuhan, says, "more work is needed." Jamie Metzl, a member of the WHO international advisory panel on Human Genome editing and author of the book "Hacking Darwin: Genetic Engineering and the Future of Humanity," discusses the new report on the origins of coronavirus and the increased risk of something like this happening again with stronger strains.
