Ontario proposes new law that gives workers "right to disconnect"

Sick of those pesky work emails you get after you've clocked out for the day? Ontario is now mulling new legislation to give people the "right to disconnect," to ensure work won't follow you after your shift is over.

The province is trying to emulate an idea that first started in France after the country adopted a labour law in 2016, which gave its workers the right for a reprieve from their employers' calls and emails.

But as Mike Drolet explains, employment experts don't think this is a realistic idea.
